Methodology which aims to “empower the community to empower the community"!

• engaging community and nourishing community learning
• personal program building, presentation and speaking skills.

The TTM program requires ...

• 8-10 hours face to face seminar and workshop time
• 8-10 hours of both directed and relevant personal reading
• 8-10 hours on a philosophical writing or event/program planing task.

• Part One: The Lecture Workshops. Eight to ten hours face to face conducted, either, over three Session or, with Sessions One and Two on the same day and Session Three around a month later.
  
• Part Two: Reading. Eight to ten hours. Thorough reading of the SSA Manual, noting that there will be an (up to) $25,000 prize for the winner of “Manual Trivial Pursuit”. As well as the Manual, a title of personal ecological sustainability or aesthetic inspirational reading with a 500 word review written for the benefit of other participants.
• Part Three: The WikiMentor. Eight to ten hours. A write up of your understanding of the Sustainability Street Approach generally and especically in terms of your personal interpretation of aspects which assist “the transformation thing” among community participants. This will become part of an online reference library of the many takes and interpretations of the Approach as a means of creating deep, resilient, long lasting change in ecological sustainability values and behaviour.

Thanks to all those who came from near and far to join us for a very successful first NAGA Sustainability Street Mentor Workshop. It was truly uplifting to be surrounded by such a wonderfully passionate, engaged and committed group of people, on a sunny spring day in Melbourne. There is indeed reason to be optimistic! In the words of inspiring keynote speaker Cate Kyne,; “I feel as I did in the 60s that there is a now a really significant mood for change”.
